Our tradespeople have the training required for your job site. Proper training and up-to-date trades certifications are an important part of our business and yours. We have a comprehensive health and safety program in place and our experienced crews always put safety first on the job site.
In addition to certifications of our tradespeople, we also hold certificates for Leadership in Safety Excellence (LSE) and Safety Construction Orientation Training (SCOT).
Training Includes:
FIRST AID & WHMIS
WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) and First Aid training are standard courses that take a common sense approach to workplace health and safety.
CONFINED SPACE TRAINING
Our tradespeople have the training needed to understand the potential hazards of working in confined spaces and the elements necessary to control those hazards prior to entry.
FALL PROTECTION
The team at Magnum understands the responsibilities when working in areas where fall hazards exist. This includes the use and inspection of the required equipment and the critical controls necessary to reduce the risk of a fall.
OVERHEAD CRANE & FORKLIFT OPERATOR
These training programs provide overhead crane and forklift operators with a solid foundation in health and safety standards, preventative maintenance, and proper procedures for safe operation.
AERIAL WORK PLATFORM
With this training, our tradespeople know how to safely use scissor and boom lifts, and to operate this equipment in accordance with legal requirements.
H2S ALIVE
The primary focus of this training is to help workers to work safely in and around H2S environments. This training covers the physical properties and health hazards of H2S, how to protect oneself as well as basic rescue techniques.
CSTS 2020
This training is a general construction site orientation for workers in the construction industry and is inclusive of industrial, commercial, and residential construction site best practices.
SAFETY MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISION SERVICES
These services include fire watch, site safety supervisors, employee safety training, and confined space monitors.
