About Us
Magnum Technical Services provides multi-trade industrial and technical services, specializing in millwrights, machinists, welders, pipe fitters, and skilled labour to industrial facilities in Canada and around the world. Magnum works in many industries including power generation, food processing, grain handling, forestry, manufacturing, and more.
With a focus on performance, safety, and quality, Magnum gets the job done on time and above customer expectations. We aim to keep the lines of communication open throughout the project to handle challenges and keep the project on task.
The team at Magnum Technical Services is led by Jason Taylor, Tom Arno, and Elloyd Block – a team that shares a passion for quality, professional work with a focus on reliability and attention to detail with a goal to exceed customer expectations.
Jason Taylor
Jason has worked in the power generation industry for over 25 years and is an interprovincial journeyman millwright and machinist with extensive experience in the power generation industry. He does not hesitate to take on and conquer many types of industrial projects. His experience leading teams and exceeding customer expectations has set the stage for ownership of Magnum.
Tom Arno
Magnum would like to welcome Tom Arno to our team! As a partner in Magnum, Tom will be leading both small and large scale customer projects on site as well as managing in-house custom fabrication and machining projects.
Tom has worked for over 20 years in the power generation industry as an Interprovincial Journeyman Machinist with many years of experience in project management. Tom’s knowledge and experience in industrial project management and customer service ensures Magnum’s continued success when taking on the most challenging projects.
Elloyd Block
We wish Elloyd well in his retirement! When he’s not enjoying time in Belize, he’ll continue to be a part of Magnum doing project work and safety management.
Elloyd’s many years of experience in industrial trade services and 25 years farming both grain and livestock has provided a diverse background and skillset for owning a business like Magnum. He is a certified National Construction Safety Officer, a Corporate Safety Program Development consultant, and a Safety Trainer for most types of mobile equipment.
